Lot 62: A Collection of Royal Doulton Merryweather Pattern Tableware
A collection of Royal Doulton pottery in the Merryweather pattern. The group consists of several teacups, circular saucers, square-format plates, and a single cream jug. Each piece is decorated with a Chinoiserie-style transfer-printed pattern featuring garden scenes with flowering trees in shades of green, yellow, and blue. The decoration is bordered by a prominent cobalt blue Greek key motif and finished with a gilt-trimmed edge. Small white adhesive labels marked 3 and orange labels marked 62 are present on several items, likely serving as internal inventory or auction identifiers.
