Lot 611: Two Early 20th Century Real Photo Postcards of Old Buckenham and the New Forest
A pair of early 20th-century postcards comprising one sepia-toned real photo postcard and one black and white real photo postcard. The first depicts a rural industrial scene featuring a large steam-powered traction engine in a wooded setting, with the printed text SEED DRAWING OLD BUCKENHAM at the bottom right. The second postcard shows an outdoor encampment scene with figures and makeshift structures, titled vertically A Gipsy Camp, New Forest. Both items are printed on standard cardstock.
Condition report:
The postcards are in good overall condition, displaying minor edge wear and some surface silvering in the darker areas consistent with age.
