Lot 588: A Collection of Militaria and Collectibles including an ATS Cap Badge and King's Own Shoulder Titles
A collection of assorted militaria and personal items. The lot includes a small red metal tin with gilt Chinoiserie-style decorative motifs containing brass and black composite buttons and a brass Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) cap badge. Also present is a red multi-tool pocket knife featuring a corkscrew, a gold-tone enamel bar pin for The Girls’ Brigade with a white cross on a blue ground, and curved red cloth shoulder titles with white embroidered lettering reading KING’S OWN.
Condition report:
The items exhibit surface wear, oxidisation, and signs of use consistent with age. The metal tin shows wear and loss to the decorative finish. The brass components show tarnish and surface marks. The cloth titles show minor wear and fraying to the edges.
