An antique tiger oak server in the Renaissance Revival style, attributed to R. J. Horner. The piece is constructed from quarter-sawn oak with a dark stain. It features a high, arched backsplash centred by a prominent Green Man mask carving surrounded by scrolling foliate motifs. A single raised shelf is supported by carved brackets above a rectangular main surface with a decorative foliate-carved edge. The frieze contains two drawers embellished with scrolling leaf carvings and fitted with metal pull knobs. The unit is supported by substantial turned and carved legs.
Condition report:
The item is in good used condition, showing minor surface wear, dust, and small scratches consistent with age and use. A small adhesive price tag is present on the main surface.
