An Edwardian style swing dressing table mirror constructed from walnut. The item features an arched mirror plate set within a moulded wooden frame, pivotally mounted between two turned support pillars terminating in decorative finials. The assembly rests upon a broad serpentine-shaped base with moulded edges. The timber displays a dark-toned grain and finish characteristic of walnut.
Condition report:
The mirror plate exhibits noticeable foxing and silvering degradation, concentrated towards the bottom edge. The wooden components show minor surface abrasions, light scratches, and a small adhesive sticker on the base, all consistent with age and use.
