Lot 396: A Set of Blue Ridge Lorraine Pattern Ceramic Bouillon Cups and Saucers
A set of ceramic twin-handled bouillon cups and matching saucers in the Lorraine pattern by Blue Ridge. The pieces are crafted from cream-coloured earthenware and feature hand-painted underglaze decoration consisting of delicate floral sprays in blue and rose tones, including strawberry-like motifs. Each item is finished with a deep magenta feathered or sponge-brushed border. The cups are designed with two scrolled handles and a flared rim. The lot also includes the base of a large ceramic vessel decorated with a blue-glazed landscape and blossoming tree motif in a traditional Chinese style.
