Lot 371: A Vintage Cast Brass Pierced Kettle Stand
A cast brass kettle stand or trivet featuring a circular top with a pierced, stylized floral motif and a scalloped rim. The decorative top is mounted on a turned central pedestal supported by a tripod base consisting of two splayed, curved legs and one straight support leg. The object is constructed from cast brass with a yellow metal finish.
Condition report:
The stand exhibits an aged brass finish with minor surface wear and oxidation consistent with age and use. There is visible adhesive residue from previous auction inventory labels on the rim.
