Lot 334: A Vintage Skyway Fibreglass Hardshell Suitcase
A vintage hardshell suitcase manufactured by Skyway. The piece features a tan textured exterior and is constructed with fibreglass. The hardware is brass-toned, comprising two flip latches and a central keyed lock mechanism. A reinforced matching handle is attached to the top. The suitcase displays a gold-toned script nameplate reading Skyway positioned near the handle, and a secondary black and orange label on the side identifying the model as Skyway FIBERGLASS.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of light surface wear and scuffing to the exterior. Minor oxidation is visible on the metal components. The condition is consistent with age and travel use. An auction tag is currently affixed to the upper right side of the front panel.
