The frame is designed in the Rococo Revival style, featuring intricate openwork decoration that includes winged cherubic figures, scrolling acanthus leaves, and trailing grapevines with clusters of grapes. The inner border of the frame displays a repeating fan motif. The oval mirror plate is finished with a wide bevelled edge. The piece exhibits a bright metallic gilded finish across the cast-metal surface.
Condition report:
The mirror appears in good condition. The gilded surface shows minor wear and light dust accumulation consistent with age. The bevelled glass plate is free from visible chips or cracks. Two adhesive inventory stickers are present on the glass surface.
