Lot 300E: A Large Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Fishbowl Planter
A large Chinese porcelain fishbowl planter of deep rounded form with a wide flat everted rim. The exterior is decorated with an all-over underglaze cobalt blue scrolling floral and foliate pattern. The rim features a trellis-pattern border interspersed with small floral motifs. The vessel is constructed with a single drainage hole at the base. An orange inventory sticker marked 300 E is present on the rim.
Condition report:
The exterior shows typical minor surface wear. The interior displays significant staining and organic residue from prior horticultural use.
