Lot 294: A Collection of Mid-Century Modern Style Decorative Items Including a Table Lamp and Ceramic Vases
A collection of mid-century modern style decorative objects. The lot includes a table lamp featuring a cylindrical shade of pleated pale green fabric in an ikat pattern with dark vertical stripes and a braided trim to the upper margin. Also included are ceramic bud vases finished in a metallic pinkish-copper lustre glaze. Completing the group is a larger ceramic vase of irregular form, featuring a black-glazed interior and a textured, speckled brown and white exterior. The items are fitted with orange and white auction inventory labels.
Condition report:
The pieces appear in good used condition. Minor surface wear and light abrasions are visible, consistent with age and domestic use.
