Lot 271: A Large Studio Pottery Circular Bowl with Concentric Throwing Marks
A large circular ceramic bowl or platter of studio pottery construction. The piece features prominent concentric throwing marks radiating from the centre, created during the wheel-throwing process. It is finished in a matte, earthy yellowish-tan glaze with darker tonal variations that emphasise the textured ridges. Small adhesive inventory labels are present on the rim, including one orange label bearing the number 271 and two white labels numbered 5.
