Lot 228: A Collection of Mason's Blue Mandalay Pattern Ironstone Tableware
A collection of Mason’s ironstone ceramics in the Blue Mandalay pattern. The group includes a large lobed and divided serving dish with a central handle, a matching large under-platter, a small lidded tureen, and a flared-rim vase. The decoration consists of Imari-style floral and foliate patterns, with the colour palette comprising cobalt blue, iron red, and orange, accented with gilded highlights. The divided dish features a segmented shell-shaped design. Various inventory and lot stickers are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
Generally good condition with minor surface wear and rubbing to the gilded highlights consistent with age and use.
