FEBRUARY AUCTION
Lot 2:
A pair of 19th-century English brass candlesticks in the King of Diamonds pattern. The items are constructed from polished brass and feature baluster-turned stems with multiple knops, including a central diamond-faceted knop. Each stem is topped with a flared bobeche and supported by a square, stepped base with clipped corners. Small identifying labels and price tags are present on the bases.
The candlesticks exhibit a bright gold-tone finish with visible surface tarnish and light wear consistent with age and handling. Adhesive labels and price tags are present on the bases.
