Lot 178: A Large Cobalt Blue Glazed Ceramic Floor Vase
A large, hand-thrown ceramic floor vase finished in a cobalt blue high-gloss glaze. The vessel is of ovoid form with a wide, flared rim and two integrated lug handles at the neck. The upper shoulder is decorated with concentric incised lines. The construction shows evidence of hand-throwing. No maker’s marks are present.
Condition report:
Generally good condition with minor surface glaze irregularities and minor imperfections characteristic of studio pottery production.
