Lot 161: Wood and Sons English Staffordshire Octagonal Blue Willow Pattern Bowl
A Wood and Sons English Staffordshire ceramic bowl of octagonal form. The interior features a blue and white transfer-printed Blue Willow pattern landscape to the centre, depicting pagodas, stylised trees, and a boat. The wide interior rim is decorated with a border of geometric fretwork and floral panels. Two adhesive inventory stickers are present on the interior surface.
Condition report:
The piece exhibits characteristic fine crazing throughout the glaze and minor surface pitting consistent with age. Two adhesive stickers are adhered to the interior surface.
