Lot 159: A Collection of Ceramic Potpourri Pomanders and a Perforated Ceramic Vessel
A collection of decorative ceramic items including several potpourri pomanders and a perforated vessel. The assortment includes a white ceramic pomander decorated with pink floral motifs and the pharmaceutical brand name ZENECA, a hand-painted ornament depicting a bird and holly berries, a blue beaded sphere, and a white lattice-textured ornament, all contained within a plain white ceramic bowl. Also included is a circular ceramic vessel featuring a perforated top with a large central aperture and a blue and white glazed border. The items are constructed from glazed ceramic with various applied decorations.
Condition report:
The items exhibit signs of age and use. Fine crazing is visible to the glaze of the perforated vessel. Minor surface marks and adhesive residue from auction inventory stickers are present.
