Lot 141: A Collection of Royal Doulton Heroes of the Sky and Sgraffito Style Decorative Plates
A collection of decorative ceramic plates featuring a Royal Doulton Heroes of the Sky limited edition plate. The aviation-themed plate is signed by artist Michael Turner and depicts a Lancaster bomber aircraft in flight over a rural field scene. The collection also includes several plates featuring sgraffito-style line drawings of stylised figures on black and burnt-orange grounds. The Royal Doulton plate is part of a series produced in association with the Royal Air Force Museum.
