Lot 127: A Group of Shelley Cloisello Ware and Chinese Blue and White Porcelain
This collection comprises a Shelley Cloisello Ware vessel and several Chinese blue and white porcelain bowls. The Shelley vessel features a flared rim and is decorated with a repetitive white floret chintz motif against a deep blue ground, with a decorative band of stylised patterns to the interior rim. The accompanying bowls are decorated in a traditional Chinese style, featuring central landscape motifs and geometric borders to the rims. Both the vessel and the bowls bear orange adhesive auction labels marked with the number 127.
Condition report:
The items are in fair condition. There is a visible hairline crack to the interior surface of the flared Shelley vessel. General surface wear and minor firing imperfections consistent with age and use are present across the collection.
