A large Volkstedt porcelain figural group executed in the Rococo revival style, depicting a lady seated at a piano with a gentleman standing in attendance. Both figures are dressed in 18th-century period costume featuring hand-painted floral patterns and applied porcelain lace edging. The piano is decorated with floral sprays and a musical score, while the ornate base features moulded scrollwork, gilt highlights, and a parquet-effect floor. A blue crest containing gold fleurs-de-lis is visible on the front of the base. Two modern inventory stickers are attached to the surface.
