Lot 640: A Trio of George V 1935 Silver Jubilee Crowns
A trio of British silver jubilee crowns dating to 1935. The obverse of each coin features the left-facing profile of King George V with the Latin legend GEORGIVS V DG BRITT OMN REX FD IND IMP. The reverse displays a stylised Art Deco representation of Saint George and the Dragon designed by Percy Metcalfe, accompanied by the inscription CROWN and the date 1935. These specimens are struck in .500 silver.
