Lot 637: A Swedish early 19th century Tea Caddy
A Swedish early 19th century tea caddy of oval form. The vessel is supported by four foliate-style feet and features a hinged lid topped with a decorative leaf-motif finial handle. A central keyhole is positioned on the front face. The interior of the lid bears an engraved Swedish inscription which reads Minne åt Augusta Wiborg – den 29. December 1835. The interior contains a small collection of keys.
