A trio of early 20th-century British military-related medallions. The first is a circular sterling silver medallion, featuring Birmingham hallmarks including the lion passant and anchor. It is engraved with the text C COMPANY RUGBY SGT. J.C. WARD 1924 within a laurel wreath. The second is a bronze-toned metal medallion suspended from a blue and yellow striped fabric ribbon, featuring an embossed lion passant guardant above a central monogram, bordered by the inscription 2ND BATTN THE KING’S OWN REGIMENT. The third is a silver-toned metal medallion displaying a similar embossed lion and crown design with the inscription 2ND BATTN THE KING’S OWN ROYAL REGIMENT.
