A group of British military service and campaign medals comprising a swing-mounted set and a separate individual medal. The collection includes a silver British War Medal (1914-1918) and a bronze-toned Victory Medal (1914-1919) from the First World War, alongside a silver War Medal (1939-1945) and a silver Long Service and Good Conduct Medal for the Regular Army. The separate piece is a silver Defence Medal (1939-1945). The medals feature the profiles of King George V and King George VI with circumscribed Latin inscriptions including GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP: and GEORGIVS VI G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:. Each medal is suspended from its respective multi-coloured textile ribbon. The Long Service and Good Conduct medal includes a fixed suspension bar inscribed REGULAR ARMY.
