Lot 581: A Pair of West German Ceramic Beer Steins
A pair of West German ceramic beer steins featuring traditional Bavarian motifs in raised relief. The set comprises one lidded tankard and one open-top mug. Both pieces are decorated with colourful scenes of alpine landscapes, edelweiss flowers, and architectural details set against a deep cobalt blue glazed ground. The handles are moulded with a textured, branch-like appearance. One piece features the inscription Kircher along the base.
