Lot 441: Two Pieces of German and English Style Porcelain including a PM Bavaria Serving Tray
A pair of decorative ceramic items comprising a handled rectangular serving tray and a lidded tureen. The tray is attributed to PM Bavaria (Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf), Germany, and is designed in a Rococo Revival style with scrolled handles. It features a central polychrome floral spray set within a white cartouche, surrounded by a grey-toned border with white and gold-gilded foliate patterns. The circular lidded vessel displays a white ground accented with gold-gilded leaf motifs and a delicate floral border, finished with a blue-and-white scale pattern along the rim. Both pieces are crafted from glazed porcelain with gilded highlights.
