The figurine is decorated in the traditional Imari palette, featuring iron red and cobalt blue underglaze with extensive gold gilding. The squirrel is modelled in a seated position with its tail curled forward. The piece exhibits a high-gloss glazed finish. An orange adhesive label with the number 33 is present on the side.
