A Clarice Cliff Bizarre ceramic fruit bowl hand-painted in the Crocus pattern, produced by Wilkinson Ltd, England, circa 1930-1940. The exterior decoration consists of orange, purple, and blue crocus flowers with green foliage on a cream ground, with a broad orange-glazed band at the base. The interior is finished with a yellow glaze and a green-lined rim. The underside bears the printed maker’s backstamp: CROCUS HAND PAINTED Bizarre by Clarice Cliff WILKINSON LTD ENGLAND.
