This 19th century English tall case clock is constructed from mahogany. The hood features a swan-neck pediment and turned pillars. The arched dial is painted with floral and avian motifs and includes Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic minute markers. The word London is inscribed at the bottom center of the dial face. An inset painted scene is located within the arch of the dial. The trunk is fitted with a rectangular door characterized by a scalloped upper edge. The case terminates in a rectangular base with a molded plinth.
