A Collection of Vintage Barware Including a French Grapevine Corkscrew and Figural Bottle Stoppers
A collection of vintage barware and accessories featuring a French grapevine burl wood handle corkscrew, consistent with designs by Franmara or Laurent Siret. The group includes a brass-toned mechanical-style corkscrew and a corkscrew with a natural gnarled wood handle. Also included are white-metal bottle stoppers with cast animal-head finials, featuring bird and canine motifs. One stopper is shown with an associated small metal cup. Materials represented include brass, steel, grapevine wood, and cork. Each item is marked with a small orange adhesive inventory tag with handwritten numbering.
