Thomas Bradford and Co Cast Iron Mangle Nameplate
A cast iron industrial nameplate for Thomas Bradford and Co of Manchester. The oval form features raised serif lettering for THOMAS BRADFORD and CO, MANCHESTER, and CRESCENT IRON WORKS. The text is positioned against a textured cross-hatched ground within a raised inner border. The plate includes two circular mounting holes located on the left and right margins. Thomas Bradford and Co were established manufacturers of laundry equipment and agricultural machinery based at the Crescent Iron Works.
