A Collection of Hornsea Pottery Saffron Pattern Storage Canisters
A collection of Hornsea Pottery ceramic storage canisters in the Saffron pattern designed by John Clappison. Each vessel is constructed of glazed ceramic featuring a repeating geometric floral design in orange and olive green on a brown ground. The canisters are fitted with circular wooden lids. One canister displays the printed text for COFFEE. These pieces were manufactured in England during the mid-century period.
