A collection of vintage and antique measuring and leveling tools constructed from boxwood, rosewood, brass, and steel. The assortment includes multiple folding rules, spirit levels in both wood and metal housings, and a sliding bevel gauge. The sliding bevel gauge features a rosewood handle with brass mountings and a steel blade, stamped C.H. SUTCLIFFE. One spirit level is encased in a brass housing stamped John Rabone & Sons Makers Birmingham and WARRANTED CORRECT. A second spirit level is set within a wooden stock. The folding boxwood rules include markings for Chesterman, Rabone, and England No 1162.
