A Collection of Lantern Plates
A collection of vintage photography supply packaging and ephemera. The group includes a box for Developers for Imperial Plates, featuring printed chemical formulas for Pyro-Soda and Standard developers and marked Special Rapid 7995B. Also present is a Wellington S.C.P. Lantern Plates box for gaslight printing and development, manufactured by Wellington and Ward, Ltd. of Elstree, Herts. The Wellington packaging provides detailed instructions and exposure guidelines for lantern plates. The items are constructed of printed cardboard and paper.
