Lot 117: Mid Century Brass Tree Sculpture by Jaqui of California
A mid-century brutalist metal tree sculpture attributed to Jaqui of California. The piece is constructed from a patinated copper alloy or brass, featuring a network of branches with small, stylized leaves. The metalwork exhibits a variegated patina with visible reddish oxidation. The sculpture is mounted on a thick, irregular slab of natural-finish wood, which includes an integral cast metal root system extending across the surface. Two inventory tags are present on the wooden base, marked 117 and 6 6.
