A Victorian Oak Smoking Cabinet
This Victorian era smoking cabinet is constructed from oak with a dark stained finish and prominent wood grain. The rectangular case features a pair of hinged doors that open to reveal two internal drawers, each fitted with ornate silver-toned metal bail handles. The top of the cabinet is equipped with an elaborately decorated metal escutcheon and a matching carry handle. The interior includes a partitioned upper section and a smaller metal-framed compartment designed for tobacco storage. The piece reflects the design characteristics of the late 19th to early 20th century.
