Lot 436:
A Country French antique carved pine hutch cabinet, presented in two parts. The lower section features a rectangular countertop above two aligned drawers, fitted with brass or bronze-toned pull handles and keyhole escutcheons. Below the drawers are two paneled cabinet doors, flanked by carved elements and adorned with rope-twist molding. The upper section, seated on the lower unit, comprises a central open niche. This niche is flanked by two glazed doors, each with multiple panes, and further outward, two narrower doors featuring decorative arched fretwork and turned spindle elements. Rope-twist molding also accents the cornice of the upper section. The hardware appears to be original or period-appropriate metal. A small, illegible orange sticker is present on the lower right of the upper section’s base.
