A Collection of Five Vintage Travel Cases
This lot comprises five stacked vintage travel cases, exhibiting a utilitarian to classic travel style consistent with mid-20th century design or earlier. The collection includes three suitcases appearing to be constructed from brown leather or vulcanized fiberboard with metal clasps and leather handles; one suitcase covered in green and white houndstooth-patterned fabric with brown leatherette trim; and one woven wicker basket-style trunk with woven handles. Visible markings include several white or yellow stickers bearing the number ’24’, with ’42’ also partially discernible on one.
