A Chinese Export Style Porcelain Table Lamp, Early 20th Century
A traditional-style table lamp featuring an octagonal porcelain base with a glossy white finish. The base is decorated with a repeating pattern of pink/mauve flowers and green/gold foliage, and further detailed with gold trim along its stepped foot. Topping the base is a flared, octagonal fabric lampshade, made of a textured off-white or cream material, adorned with decorative trim bands and a matching fringe along its lower edge. The lamp includes a white electrical cord fitted with a UK-style three-pin plug. Visible markings on the base include an orange octagonal sticker bearing the number “217” and a smaller white sticker with “7 7”.
