Timed auction of unsold lots from 10th December
Lot 189:
A diverse collection of homewares. Prominently featured are three ceramic storage jars, each topped with a cork lid and adorned with abstract, earthy-toned brown and cream swirl patterns, suggestive of a mid-century or studio pottery style. Adjacent to these is a stack of assorted ceramic bowls and plates, varying in color from cream to light grey and white, some with a subtle wavy edge, and one with a brown rim. This stack is nested within a large, round, woven rattan or wicker charger featuring a twisted rope-like edge. Also visible are a partially obscured blue and white patterned ceramic vessel, a small metallic candlestick, and a diminutive ceramic plate decorated with abstract orange, green, and brown motifs. Multiple items display orange price stickers, predominantly marked “189” (often inverted) and “185”, and one cork lid features a white sticker with the number “7”.
