A Pair of Carl Schneider Grafenthal Erben Porcelain Figurines, Boy and Girl
A pair of Carl Schneider Grafenthal Erben porcelain figurines, depicting children in a sentimental genre style. The first figurine features a girl with light brown hair, dressed in a blue polka-dotted pinafore over a white blouse with a patterned apron and blue shoes, accompanied by a small gray and white dog and a smaller, indistinct figure, all on an oval base. The second figurine presents a boy with light brown hair, wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, and blue shoes, holding an open book and a small bouquet of flowers, standing on an oval base decorated with small pastel flowers and two white birds. Both figurines exhibit a glossy finish with blue, white, brown, and pastel color accents. Each base has a white paper tag marked “12 12,” and the girl’s figurine also shows faint, reddish, indistinct markings on its base. Originates from Germany.
