DECEMBER SALE
Lot 70:
An Adderley Melba ‘Lily of the Valley’ partial tea service, crafted from fine bone china in England, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The set comprises a teapot with its lid, a creamer, four teacups, and at least five saucers. Each piece is adorned with a delicate lily-of-the-valley floral pattern in green and white, complemented by gilded rims and handle accents. The base of one teacup displays the maker’s mark: a crown logo with “785” (or “789”) inside, “Adderley,” “FINE BONE CHINA,” and “ENGLAND,” along with handwritten numbers “7313.” The teapot also features retail price stickers, one white with “13 13” and an orange one showing “7$.”
