DECEMBER SALE
Lot 57:
A Victorian copper kettle on an integrated stand. The kettle is crafted from hammered copper with a domed copper lid, topped by a carved bone or ivory finial. It rests on an integrated stand of darker metal, likely brass or bronze, cast in a naturalistic, branch-like style with visible floral motifs. The overhead handle is wrapped in natural-colored rope, with supports matching the branch-like, floral-decorated metalwork of the stand. A small white tag displaying ’12 12′ is affixed to the rope-wrapped handle.
