DECEMBER SALE
Lot 54:
An English 1850s Copeland red border plate and matching serving utensil, adorned with bouquets of flowers. The large, scalloped-edge plate features a deep red border, a wide white central field with pink, purple, and green floral clusters, and intricate gold floral patterns. The matching ceramic serving utensil has a red handle and a floral-decorated blade. Also included in this lot are three relief-ware ceramic items, likely stoneware. These comprise a large black lidded circular box and a medium sage green shallow dish, both featuring white classical figural scenes in relief. A smaller sage green lidded circular box with a white bust in relief completes the group. Several items bear small white stickers marked “21”.
