Buyer's Premium:

A diverse collection of numismatic and related items, primarily comprising numerous circulating and commemorative coins of various sizes, metals (including silver-toned, brass, and copper alloys), and periods. A significant portion appears to be British coinage, with visible examples featuring Elizabeth II, some indicating designer Raphael Maklouf for the obverse and Norman Silliman for the reverse. Older tokens, some marked ‘COAL’, are also present. One specific one pound coin is identified in accompanying Royal Mint literature as nickel-brass, with the Latin edge inscription ‘DECUS ET TUTAMEN’ (‘An ornament and a safeguard’). The collection also includes a gilt medallion in a red, velvet-lined presentation box, inscribed ‘SWARTHMOOR VILLAGE MENS DARTS LEAGUE & DISTRICT,’ and a small medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon. Additional components consist of a black coin pouch, a crumpled paper envelope from ‘MAPIN & WEBB,’ and an informative Royal Mint booklet titled ‘England’s.’
