Lot 489: A Group of Sterling Silver and Mixed Metal Souvenir Spoons and Flatware
A group of sterling silver and mixed metal souvenir spoons and assorted flatware. Comprising approximately two dozen metal spoons and small utensils housed in a clear plastic storage tub. The majority are souvenir spoons, some retaining original plastic packaging, featuring various enamel crests, decorative handles, and destination names including ‘HOLKER HALL,’ ‘MALLORCA,’ ‘VENEZIA,’ and ‘SCOTLAND.’ One packaged spoon is marked ‘CAVENDO TUTUS,’ ‘MADE IN AUSTRALIA,’ and ‘COLLECTOR SPOONS.’ While many spoons appear to be silver-toned metal, with a ‘925’ or similar hallmark faintly visible on one example, at least one utensil is marked ‘Stainless Steel.’
