Lot 469: A Collection of Vintage Medical Product Packages in a Painted Bentwood Container
A collection of vintage product packages housed within a cylindrical wooden container. The container is crafted from light-colored wood, possibly bentwood, and features painted decoration in shades of green, red, and yellow. Prominently displayed is a red and yellow cardboard box for “FIERY JACK RUBBING OINTMENT”, adorned with an illustration of a dynamic figure engulfed in flames and text proclaiming “RELIEVES ALL FORMS OF RHEUMATISM”. This box also bears “BRAND” and “REG. TRADE MARK” markings, a handwritten “3/9” on its top flap, and a white sticker marked “29 29”. Partially visible inside the container are additional small cardboard boxes, including a yellow one marked “Aidex” and a pink one with a white circular label containing a dark, indistinct character, possibly a “7”. A dark, rectangular object is also partly visible within the container.
