A vintage Japanese Tomy ‘Super Robot Big Rotation’ (スーパ―ロボット大回転) Tumbling Robot, circa 1978. Still sealed in its original cardboard packaging with a clear plastic window. The robot features a retro-futuristic design with a predominantly chrome-plated plastic body, red chest accents, a red visor for eyes, and a circular chest emblem with a white ‘S’ on a red starburst in a blue circle, complemented by green legs and yellow/orange arms. The packaging includes text indicating “Sparkling Robot, ” “Super Spin, ” that it “Falls down, but always gets back up, ” and that it “Uses 2 D-cell dry batteries; batteries sold separately, ” along with an “Age 5-6” recommendation and the Japan Toy Association’s ST (Safety Toy) mark.
