Lot 305: A Group of Four Framed Artworks, including a Wedgwood Franklin Porcelain 'Flowers of the Year' Botanical Illustration
A group of four framed artworks. The most prominent piece is a large circular botanical illustration depicting various plants, berries, and flowers, consistent with designs from the Wedgwood Franklin Porcelain ‘Flowers of the Year’ collection. This illustration is set within a grey-green mat and a textured gold-toned frame. Also included are three rectangular artworks: an abstract composition rendered in vibrant colors, likely pastel or mixed media, presented in a wide white mat; a still life painting of a vase of flowers and a bowl of fruit, signed and potentially titled “Flowers and Fruit” in the lower section, also with a wide white mat; and a vertically oriented still life painting depicting yellow and white flowers in a pot, bearing a visible signature “Glas” or similar.
