Lot 263: A Murano Venetian Millefiori Glass Vase with Applied Handles
A Murano Venetian millefiori glass vase. This vibrant, multi-colored glass vase is executed in a millefiori-style technique, featuring numerous embedded canes forming intricate floral and geometric patterns in shades of red, blue, green, yellow, and white. The vase has a baluster-shaped body, a flared mouth, and two clear, applied decorative handles or scrolled elements on either side of the neck. It stands on a flared, ruffled clear glass base. An orange sticker with the numeral “263” is affixed to the underside of the base.
